The opposition Democratic Coalition (DK) is calling for the immediate inoculation of kindergarten and creche staff with a Covid-19 vaccine that has been approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), a party leader said at an online press conference on Saturday.
Judit Földi Rácz said “complete vaccination chaos reigns” in Hungary.
“Orbán’s people are inoculating football players, while kindergarten and creche staff are with their kids day after day without any defence,” she added.
She noted that DK earlier pressed for teachers to be among the first to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.
As no Covid-19 vaccination has been approved for small children, she said, it’s important for people caring for them to be inoculated.
