A suspected case of the new coronavirus in Debrecen has tested negative, the National Public Health Centre (NNK) said on Friday.
Cecília Müller, the national medical chief officer, told a press conference earlier in the day that no coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Hungary so far. She said out of two suspected cases, one had tested negative while another case in Debrecen, in eastern Hungary, required further laboratory testing.
NNK confirmed to MTI on Friday that the Debrecen sample had tested negative.

The death toll from the coronavirus reached 213 in China on Friday.
