“Brussels is terrorizing Hungary, but I am happy to go there to talk to people who are not enemies,” Croatian President Zoran Milanovic told journalists on Thursday, Hungarian news agency MTI reports.

The head of state noted that Hungary “has never attacked Croatia, which cannot be said of other neighbors.” According to Milanovic, although they have different political views, this does not change the fact that the two countries have enjoyed good neighborly relations for a thousand years.

We disagree on some ideological issues, but it turns out that I am one of the few people who dare to go there,”

he added.

The Croatian president is currently visiting Budapest at the invitation of President Katalin Novák.
