Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó discussed the potential easing of border restrictions with his Austrian, Czech and Slovak counterparts over the past two days.
Factors to be considered when phasing out border restrictions include the protection of human life and health, economic and trade relations, the re-establishment of links between communities living along the borders and a return to normalcy, Szijjártó said on Facebook regarding his talks with Alexander Schallenberg, Tomas Petricek and Ivan Korcok.

He welcomed the recent easing of restrictions in Austria and Slovakia, saying that the Hungarian government, will soon also discuss similar measures.
