Coronavirus: Orbán Meets Health Experts

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met a group of health experts in his office to discuss the worsening novel coronavirus situation in Hungary, on Thursday morning, his press chief said.

The panel included Béla Merkely, the rector of Budapest Semmelweis University, epidemiologist-mathematician Gergely Rost at Szeged University, Anikó Nagy, director general of Heim Pál children’s hospital, and former health secretary Miklós Szócska, the head of Semmelweis University’s Health Manager training centre, Bertalan Havasi said.

The prime minister is meeting the broadest possible circle of experts to help the government in taking decisions on further protection measures in time, he said.
