Another 14 elderly patients suffering from chronic diseases have died in Hungary and the number of registered novel coronavirus infections has risen by 114 to 2,098, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Tuesday morning.
So far, there have been 213 fatalities and 287 people have left hospital after recovery.
There are 842 people in hospital, 82 of whom are treated on ventilators.
Fully 11,172 people are in home quarantine. So far, 50,052 coronavirus tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories.
Budapest has the highest number of infections (1,082), followed by Pest County (293) and Fejér county (175).
