Coronavirus: Romania Lifts Quarantine Requirement

MTI-Hungary Today 2020.10.15.

From Thursday on, travellers can cross into Romania from Hungary without having to isolate themselves on arrival, according to information from the central body coordinating coronavirus-related measures.

Róbert Kiss, a spokesman for the operative body, said that Romania had removed Hungary from the list of high-risk countries.

He also added that traffic at Hungary’s border crossings was smooth, with the exception of Csanádpalota, Röszke, Tompa and Beregsurány, where 2-3 hour waiting times should be expected.
