Coronavirus: Hungary Case Count Rises to 32

Five more Hungarians were diagnosed on Saturday with the new coronavirus and two more people on Sunday, raising the case count to 32, the government website said on Sunday morning.

Some of the new patients had recently travelled to Italy or had relatives returning from Austria. Others were known to have been in contact with known patients, the website said.

Contact research has been undertaken in the new cases.

The number of people in quarantine has risen to 159 (from Saturday’s 79) while the health authority has done tests on 1236 samples, the website said.

On Saturday morning, there were 25 confirmed cases, while on Friday, 19 people were diagnosed with the new coronavirus.
