Coronavirus: Healthcare Workers to Use Long-Distance Public Transport for Free

MTI-Hungary Today 2020.03.28.

Hungary’s healthcare workers are getting a free pass for all long-distance public transport services around the country, state secretary Tamás Schanda said at an online press conference of the operative board coordinating Hungary’s response to the novel coronavirus pandemic on Saturday.

Healthcare workers may travel free of charge on the passenger services of railway companies MÁV and GYSEV, and of Volánbusz and other long-distance bus companies until the state of emergency is lifted, Schanda said.
