Output of Hungary’s construction sector grew by an annual 40.1 percent in April, data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Friday show.
Output of the buildings segment was up 34.3 percent, lifted by construction of industrial buildings, offices and homes, KSH said. Civil engineering output increased by 47.9 percent, supported by road and railway projects, it added.
Construction Sector Output Jumps 68 pc in March
In a month-on-month comparison, construction output fell by 3.8 percent, adjusted for seasonal and working-day effects.
