The output of Hungary’s construction sector climbed an annual 27.3 percent in November, data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Tuesday show.
The output of the buildings segment was up by 17.8 percent, lifted by construction of factories, stores and homes, KSH said. Civil engineering output jumped by 40.2 percent, supported by road, railway and utilities projects, it added.
In a month-on-month comparison, construction output rose by 4.4 percent, adjusted for seasonal and workday effects.
For the period January-November, output was up by 22.9 percent year on year.
