From Wednesday, a boat capable of accommodating 250 people will ensure passage across the Danube during the renovation of the Chain Bridge between Academy Street (Pest side) and the port on Jégverem Street (Buda) in Budapest.
The boat will depart from Jégverem Street at 7 a.m. every day of the week and will run every 15 minutes. The last ship will return to the Pest side from the 1st port along Academy Street at 20:15.
Tourists and passengers will be able to access the ship with a standard ticket or with a public transport pass. However, the purchase of a 500 HUF (1,40 EUR) ticket will be required on weekends. Moreover, if one wishes to transport a bicycle or dog with them, a 300 HUF (85 Euro cent) ticket will be needed to do so.
