Asked whether a visit by the Pope can be expected, he said that the latest Eucharistic Congress had been attended by a papal legate. However, considering that the Pope recently said he would like to visit small countries, “we would be at his service”, Erdő said.
A clock has been set up in front of the Basilica which will show the countdown to the event during the year ahead.
