The 17th FINA World Aquatics Championships was organized and held in the capital of Hungary and Balatonfüred. The championships featured some 2,000 athletes from over 180 countries competing across six disciplines. This week-end the FINA World Aqutacis ended with swimming, the high diving and water polo finals in the spotlight.

Water polo matches and finals were held in Budapest in the Hajós Alfréd National Swimming Pool.
Swimming was held in Budapest’s brand new Duna Arena.
The high diving tower was built up with a scenic view in the background. The jumpers could enjoy a fascinating view of Budapest’s Parliament building, as well as of the whole capital, from the top of the tower that was set up at Batthány Square.
