Twenty-one Hungarian pools, baths and spas have been rated since a national bath classification system was introduced last year, the official website of the Hungarian Bath Association shows. Baths may be rated with between one and five stars in five categories: spa, waterpark, open-air bath, swimming pool and medical wellness bath. At present, there are 561 baths and swimming pools in Hungary, of which 386 are open year-round. All in all, the association estimates about 200 Hungarian baths that attract tourists, however only twenty-one have received an official certificate so far. (The numbers do not reflect ranking.)
