Is Colleen Bell Going To Leave Hungary? – UPDATED

United States’ Ambassador To Hungary Colleen Bell is going to discontinue her duty and she will leave Hungary before her planned mission runs out, writes. The beautiful ambassador of Budapest arrived on the 21st of January 2015 and according to the she is in charge until the spring of 2017. Her leaving doesn’t depend on the results of the upcoming presidential election in the United States.

By the information of the Colleen Bell is tired of the hopeless work to smooth the international relations between Hungary and the United States. The democrat ambassador was sent to Hungary to her mission when the relations between Budapest and Washington was close to the hitting bottom. Although she started a really successful “smile-diplomacy”, she also proposed some critics about corruption and antisemitism too.

The question of the succession up to the results of the election in the Unites States. After Bell’s leaving she will be replaced by a “temporary-ambassadorDavid Kostelancik, until the new American government send a new ambassador to Hungary.


“I will not go anywhere within a reasonable time” said the operating ambassador, Collen Bell. She said, the mentioned newspaper did not ask the Embassy about its words. On the 8th of November we will see who is going to be the President of the States, who will be inaugurated in January.


Anyway she is happy to serve her country as United States’ Ambassador To Hungary in Budapest she added.
