Humanity’s existence depends on sustainable nature, so people should treat the environment with greater care and mindfulness, President János Áder said.
Áder has talked about the importance of nature on Friday in Gödöllő, where he opened the International Nature and Environment Festival and the Hungarian National Parks Week.
Áder, who is the festival’s patron, spoke in the courtyard of the Royal Castle of Gödöllő about the importance of protecting biodiversity. “It’s all very well creating laws to protect the land, but we’re at the same time dumping waste illegally on district boundaries,” he said.
