MTI-Hungary Today 2022.12.05.

The people of Budapest witnessed quite a sight on Sunday. The Santa Claus Run was held for the seventh time in the city center.

All ages were represented at the sporting event. Participants could choose between a five-kilometer or 2.6-kilometer race, while children and families could also run or walk the 900-meter race.

The organizers collected toys, stationery, and school supplies for the ÁGOTA Foundation, which will be distributed to children in care. According to Blikk, 1566 people joined the race.

The popular pre-Christmas sporting event was canceled the previous two years due to the coronavirus epidemic.
