“Youngest Ukrainian Guest in Budapest Is a Two-Week-Old Baby”

The youngest Ukrainian refugee in Budapest is a two-week-old baby, Mayor Gergely Karácsony announced on social media on Tuesday afternoon.

The politician brought up that the Municipality of Budapest has already helped some 200 people, ensuring that they don’t have to spend the night in train stations. Most of them are families with small children.

“Our youngest guest is barely two weeks old and is already waiting for the end of this terrible war with his family at Lake Balaton,” Karácsony reported on his Facebook page.

He added that he had been consulting with the heads of the Disaster Management, which is coordinating the work, and offered the additional support of the capital, be it in the form of accommodation, food or transportation.
