Hospitals Ban Visitors in Wake of Rising Covid Figures

MTI-Hungary Today 2021.10.28.

Further hospitals in Budapest and in the provinces have imposed a ban on visitors in view of the rising number of new coronavirus infections and covid patients requiring hospitalization.

The ban currently covers eight hospitals of Budapest’s Semmelweis University, the Gottsegen Cardiovascular Institute, the Paediatric Cardiology Centre, as well as some departments of the South Pest Centrum Hospital, and the Szent Imre University Hospital.

Hospitals in Debrecen, Zalaegerszeg, Szombathely, Szolnok, Eger, Sopron, and Salgótarján, as well as the Flór Ferenc Pest County hospital have similarly banned visits.
