The 5th Medal Of The Hungarian Paralympic Team In Rio Captured By Richárd Osváth

Richárd Osváth was born in Szatmárnémeti (Satu Mare, Romania). He is a wheelchair fencer representing Hungary in international competitions. The Hungarian athlete won a bronze medal in the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London and a silver medal in the 2013 Wheelchair Fencing World Championships, both in Foil A. Mr. Osváth also won a silver medal in the 2014 Wheelchair European Fencing Championships in Sabre A and a gold medal in Foil A.

The Hungarian fencer Richárd Osváth, captured the silver medal on the 12th of September at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. He had the final fight with the Ukrainian Andrij Demcsuk in the men’s category of wheelchair fencing. In the end the legendary Ukrainian fencer took the gold with the results 15-8.
