Hungarian student Balázs Simon’s video clip has been nominated for the best animation in a video prize of the UK Music Video Awards. The 23-years old student of the Budapest Business College made a video clip for Nils Frahm’s song titled ‘Re’, which came out on the German musician’s “Screws” album published in 2012. Balázs’s video will compete for the prestigious title with five other songs from Coldplay, Metronomy, James, Savages and Throne. The final will take place in London on 10th of November.
“When I first heard Nils’ new album ‘Screws’, I instantly fell in love with it, not only because of the music, but also because of it’s backstory. Listening to ‘Re’ planted a story and a world in my head, so I decided to create a music video for it” – Balázs Simon told. Apparently the young Hungarian artist did something very well, since his video has become pretty popular on the web and it has also got invitations to the International Music Video Festival of Paris and to the Montreal Music Video Festival.
