Govt authorises HUF 24 bn extra spending on mass migration management
Hungary’s government has authorised a budget overshoot of 24 billion forints (EUR 74m) in spending to manage mass migration, a resolution published in the latest issue of the official gazette Magyar Közlöny shows. The extra funds are on top of the 50 billion forint allocation for management of mass migration in the Interior Ministry’s budget.
Govt allocates HUF 2.8 bn for Transylvania programmes, investments in 2018-2019
The government has decided to allocate 1.3 billion forints (EUR 4m) for financing programmes and investments of national significance in Transylvania this year and additional 1.5 billion forints for next year, the official gazette Magyar Közlöny said on Thursday. In line with the law, the government has ordered an immediate transfer of 1.3 billion forints for programmes and investments of national significance in Transylvania in the 2018 budget. Next year, the finance minister and the deputy prime minister in charge of nation policy will have to secure 1.5 billion forints budget resources for the same purpose.
