Football fans will be allowed to return to the Puskás Arena in Budapest for the 2020 European Super Cup to be played on September 24, the Hungarian Football Association (MLSZ) said on Wednesday.
After matches played behind closed doors in recent months, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) will test a new system to allow a limited number of fans to return to international matches of national teams and clubs, MLSZ said.
Sky Sports Italia reported that 30 percent of the stadium’s capacity will be allowed to be used, which corresponds to around 20,000 spectators.
The Super Cup match will be played between the winners of the Champions League and the Europa League.
