The camps of the Rákóczi Association will start this Sunday, where a total of 12,000 Hungarian youths are expected to attend during the summer, the organization told MTI on Thursday.

The Rákóczi Camp, located in Sátoraljaújhely (northern Hungary along the Slovakian border), is one of the main meeting places for Hungarian youth. Participants will arrive from 31 countries to various thematic camps.

The main aim of the camps is for young people to meet each other and make lifelong friendships, experiences, and memories through exciting programs.

Their focus is to strengthen the knowledge and love of Hungarian culture and language.

The All-Hungarian High School Camp, which starts on Sunday afternoon, will be attended by 509 students from 45 high schools in the Carpathian Basin, as well as high school students with Hungarian roots from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Spain, and Northern Macedonia.
