The Hungarian Reformed and Evangelical churches will hold a musical, religious and gastronomic event called Protestant Medley on Saturday, the day before Hungary’s founding day, in Buda Castle.
The programs will be held at two venues. In the morning, choirs will perform at the Evangelical Church on Vienna Gate Square, and there will be an interactive music session for children on the biblical story of Noah’s Ark. In the afternoon, the organ marathon will alternate between Reformed and Lutheran artists.

The stage in Kapisztrán Square will also feature musicians from the Reformed and Evangelical churches. The program will start at 10 am with children’s concerts and a performance of poems by Sándor Petőfi.

In the afternoon, opera singer Ágnes Anna Kun and pianist Sámuel Csaba Tóth will perform a concert entitled Songs of the Hungarian Folk Soul, followed by a presentation by the Reformed art schools.
The musical program will end with a concert of Protestant church music by the Central Reformed Choir.
The day will end with an ecumenical service in the Evangelical Church on Vienna Gate Square, broadcast on a projector on Kapisztrán Square.
