Before his trip to Budapest, Prime Minister Robert Fico held talks with Krisztián Forró, leader of the Hungarian Alliance, reported MA7.

After the meeting, the politician stated that various issues concerning the Hungarian community in Slovakia were discussed, and concrete proposals were made.

Mr. Fico has promised that in the near future, there will be a cabinet meeting in southern Slovakia. During this meeting, the cabinet will address the issues in the southern and eastern regions,”

Krisztián Forró said.

He added that another meeting with the head of the government will take place the next week, where Prime Minister Fico will be joined by Culture Minister Martina Šimkovičová and Minorities Government Commissioner Ákos Horony. One of the topics of the meeting will be the discussion of the situation around the Minority Cultural Fund.
