Advent at the Danube Bend

Hungary Today 2022.11.23.

Towns along the Danube Bend near Budapest are holding Christmas markets and a series of events in the Advent period.

This Saturday, the Christmas Market will reopen on Szentendre’s main street, where gastronomic, handicraft, and craft products will be on offer until December 24, the Szentendre Cultural Center told MTI. The institution is also organizing a number of programs for the public during the month. After the festive candle-lighting on Sundays, concerts will be held.

The Advent Market on Esztergom‘s Széchenyi Square opens this Friday and is open on the festive weekends, each Friday to Sunday.
