Three Hungarian citizens have been arrested in the United Kingdom for allegedly enslaving a fellow Hungarian and exploiting his labor for years.
In an earlier raid, British police found the man, who is in his fifties, near Manchester. The man, a Hungarian citizen, alleged that he had been forced to work at a food-processing plant for years, but his captors would not allow him access to his bank account. They also forced him to collect cans for extra money.
With the aid of Britain’s immigration office, police arrested a 22-year-old man, a 23-year-old woman, and a 60-year-old man, on charges of having enslaved their victim.
