Parliamentary Speaker László Kövér will on Thursday leave on an official visit to Mexico and later to Panama, the parliament’s press office said. Kövér has been invited by President of the Senate of Mexico Pablo Escudero Morales and President of the National Assembly of Panama Rubén De León Sánchez, the statement issued on Tuesday showed.
In Mexico Kövér is scheduled to hold talks with his host and with Interior Minister Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong and Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray. He will also meet representatives of various committees in the Senate and members of a Mexican-Hungarian friendly division currently being formed. He will address a celebratory meeting of the Senate of Mexico, meet representatives of local Hungarians and inaugurate a memorial to the 1956 anti-Soviet revolution at the Hungarian Embassy in Mexico City.
During his visit in Panama, Kövér is scheduled to hold talks with De León and with Vice President and Foreign Minister of Panama Isabel Saint Malo de Alvarado.
