As a preparation to the upcoming Red Bull Air Race -a dazzling air competition popular all over the world-, that will be held in Budapest this week-end, two pilots had a pleasure-flight with the retired iconic Hungarian pilot Péter Besenyei.
Japanese pilot Joshide Muroja and Czech pilot Petr Kopfstein was flying their training rounds above the Danube River this morning. Péter Besenyei, the great Hungarian pilot, guided them in the skies above Budapest. The former World Champion Air Race pilot lead the foreign pilots over his home town prior to the fourth stage of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship in Budapest.
The Red Bull Air Race World Cup is an international aerobatics championships series held annually since 2003, which sees the world’s best stunt pilots competing to fly through an obstacle course in the shortest possible time.
“Budapest is the spiritual home of the Red Bull Air Race”, said Péter Besenyi. As one of the most popular stops, the Hungarian capital always pulls in a monumental crowd to witness the racing action.
