Just as the saying quotes; “A good priest learns until his death”. Well, “Life Long Learning” is one of the most important thing in the 21st century. In Budapest on the annually held Education Exhibition, you can find everything you may be interested to learn about. The aim of the EDUCATIO International Education Exhibition was to answer all the questions regarding higher education. Its goal is to connect each and every participant of education (i.e., national and international institutions of higher education, course book publishers, language schools, and vocational training centres) with people who are interested in it (i.e., students, teachers, and parents).
The 17th Educatio International Exhibition was opened in Budapest at the HUNGEXPO Budapest Fair Center on Thursday. Textbook publishers, universities from abroad, language schools and vocational colleges are among the exhibitors at the three-day-long event, at which organisers expect around 35,000 visitors this year.
Besides those interested in further education, the event also presents a great one and only opportunity for instructors, heads of institutions, and other exhibitors of the profession, since everyone learns about the professional innovations and new methods at one stage. Visitors may inform themselves about the future of Hungarian higher education by listening to presentations, as well as discuss their various ideas with representatives of the exhibitors in order to find a common solution.
László Palkovics, the state secretary for education, told the opening that Hungary’s higher education institutional system was getting stronger. The government has stabilised the finances of the higher education system and is making up for the cuts that had been made to the education budget before 2010, Palkovics said. He said graduate unemployment in Hungary “has basically been eliminated”, adding that “any graduate who wants to work can find a job.” Palkovics said Hungarian universities offered the best return on investment within the OECD.
