Hungarian WW1 Soldiers Of The Battles Of Isonzo Commemorated

Hungarian Speaker of Parliament László Kövér attended a commemoration of the centenary of the twelve Isonzo Battles of the Caporetto breakthrough in Modrejce military cemetery in Most Na Soci, in western Slovenia, where first world war soldiers of Austro-Hungary lie.

Addressing the commemoration together with his Slovenian counterpart, Milan Brglez, Kövér said every human life lost to war was a cause for remembrance as well as a prompt to draw the appropriate lessons.

At the event, the two officials remembered the heroes with a joint Slovenian-Hungarian military ceremony and wreath-laying.
