American punk-rock band Green Day will deliver a concert in Budapest’s László Papp Sport Arena on 18th of June 2017 as part of the world tour of their new album “Revolution Radio”, the band has announced on Monday.
Budapest! We are coming in 2017!
“Budapest, stay tuned for some Green Day news tomorrow”, the popular punk-rock band posted on its official social media pages on Sunday. Many of the Hungarians fans instantly realized it must be a concert in Hungary, and today it turned out they were absolutely right. The tickets can purchased for HUF 9900-18900 here.
The members of Green Day – Billie Joe Armstrong (vocals/guitar), Mike Dirnt (bass/vocals) and Tre’ Cool (drums) – have paid a visit to Hungary for three times so far. They performed in the Budapest Sport Arena in 1995, at the Sziget Festival in 1998 and once again in the Sport Arena in 2005. The opening act of next year’s Green Day concert will be delivered by fellow American punk band Rancid.
