FIFA World Rankings: Hungary In Highest Position Since 2012 After Rising 11 Places

The Hungarian national football team has risen eleven positions on FIFA’s world rankings and is now in 31st position among the world’s national team, it was revealed on Thursday. It is the best position held by the Hungary team since November 2012. The major leap forward can be attributed to the country’s recent victories against Lithuania and Finland, index.hu reports.

There have also been changes at the top of the list, with Argentina overtaking Germany and Belgium to rise to first position. However, Romania, Wales, England and Chile have also improved dramatically, with both Hungary’s qualifying group rival Romania and the Celtic nation now included among the world’s top ten teams.
