The 17th FINA World Aquatics Championships goes on in Budapest and Balatonfüred. After the event’s fascinating opening ceremony in Budapest on Friday the competitions begun in several places. The championships, which run until July 30, feature some 2,000 athletes from over 180 countries competing across six disciplines.
First of all; FINA Fun Fact Of The Day: Ashton Kutcher the famous American filmstar and Dénes Kemény former Hungarian water polo player who was the trainer and president of the Hungarian National Men Water Polo Team from 1997 to 2012 watch together the competition.

The open water swimming competitions were going on in Balatonfüred in the Lake Balaton.
Water polo matches are in Budapest during the first three days in the Hajós Alfréd National Swimming Pool.
Synchronised swimming was held by Heroes Square (Hősök tere), the iconic UNESCO World Heritage site, which is located adjacent to the City Park ice rink.
Synchronised Diving was held in the brand new Duna Arena of Budapest
