ds the islaThe answer: On the vintage picture, you can see the Margaret Island in 1900. The Margaret Bridge is the second permanent bridge in Budapest after Széchenyi Chain Bridge as it was built between 1872 and 1876 according to the plans of the French engineer Ernst Goüin. This bridge leads up to Margaret Island, its two parts enclosing 165 degrees with each other at the embranchment towarnd.
