Answer: The vintage picture was taken in 1949. The lines of the trolley buses evolved in the end of the 1940s in Budapest. The trolley bus system started to run in 1949 with the first line which one was the number 70. This line was numbered to 70 to celebrate the 70th birthday of the “great Soviet emperor” Stalin. This is why his portrait can be seen on the vintage picture on the front of the buses.
