In November, British Ambassador to Budapest Iain Lindsay returned to London for a short time.
In addition to reporting to the Foreign Ministry, Lindsay also took time out of his schedule to visit the British capital’s Hungarian community, and even took part in Hungarian folk dances as well, where he was accepted as an “honorary Hungarian.”
The Scottish diplomat ate lángos for lunch at Camden Market, met with Hungarian students at the London School of Economics, and had a meeting with the Hungarian Ambassador to the UK Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky at a Hungarian restaurant.
